If you have the Luno app installed on your mobile device, you can receive push notifications, as long as they’re enabled.
Push notifications greatly improve the security of your Luno account. When enabled, you'll receive a push notification in one of the following instances:
To inform you of recent activity on your Luno account, like a new sign in
Containing a 4-digit OTP required when signing in - if you have a trusted device and don’t have two-factor authentication (2FA) enabled
Asking you to authorise specific actions on your Luno account, if you have a trusted device
Tip

How do I enable push notifications?
You can enable push notifications very easily from your phone settings.
Here's how
Android devices
Open your phone’s Settings app
Select Apps & notifications, and then Notifications
Under Recently sent, find apps that recently sent you notifications. To find more apps, select See all
Select Advanced, and turn on notifications for the Luno app
Tip
If you don’t see Recently sent, you’re most likely using an older Android version. Instead, select App notifications and then the Luno app to enable notifications.
Apple devices
From your phone’s home screen, select the Settings app
When open, select Notifications
Scroll down, look for the Luno app, and select it
At the top of the screen, toggle Allow notifications to the ON
Choose your options for how you want to receive push notifications
And choose the alert style you want to receive when your device is unlocked
